From the Tour tees this monster measures 7,736 yards. This posh Albuquerque golf course just minutes outside of downtown was host to the 2003 PGA Club Pro Championship. Hefty green fees are handed over in exchange for a top of the line golf experience, representative of the best of the Southwest's golf offerings. Ancient Native American dwellings feature prominently throughout the surrounding landscape.

Isleta Eagle Golf Course

Built around three lakes, this Albuquerque golf course offers 27 holes of championship golf just south of Albuquerque. Named the Mesa, Lakes, and Arroyo, the three sets of nine holes play a whopping 7,572 yards from the tips of the Mesa-Lakes combo, and 7,136 yards from the Lakes-Arroyo 18. Featuring views of Mt. Taylor and the Rio Grande, this Albuquerque golf course is intersected in four places by Native American wash areas.

Paradise Hills Golf Club

Golf Digest perennially rates this Albuquerque golf course as one of the top public golf courses in New Mexico. Paradise is 6808 yards from the tips and features water and sand. This Albuquerque golf course is another bargain with green fees in the $20-$50 range. Close to several Albuquerque attractions including Old Town Albuquerque and the Indian Pueblos.

Pueblo de Conchiti Golf Course

Robert Trent Jones designed this recently renovated New Mexico golf course just north of Albuquerque. It's a 6,817 yard, par-72 layout carved out of the New Mexico high desert. The landscape bordering the tight fairways is untouched New Mexico High Desert, with an abundance of native trees and wildlife.

Ranked in the top twenty-five of Golf Digest's best public golf courses in the country (and also considered one of the best golf values in the country), this Albuquerque golf complex plays host numerous NCAA tournaments, LPGA events, as well as PGA qualifying and mini-tour events. New Mexico residents play for peanuts, out of state golfers not much more ($20-$30 and $50-$60, respectively).
